PHILIPPINE BIBLE COLLEGE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, INC MINUTES OF MEETING held February 4, 2006,
PRELIMINARIES:
1. Venue: AFP Headquarters,
1.1. Lunch was served by brethren Eliseo Tangunan and Rolando Dumawa at Metro
Market to the
1.2. Major Rolando Dumawa gave the group a tour around the Fort especially at the

Present: Mardonio Bernardo,
Zambrano, Rachel Cabuenas, Rolando Dumawa, Eliseo Tangunan and
Rebecca Braga.
Absent: Eusebio Tanicala(sick), Edwin Valencia, Pablo Lachica, John Quiniones Sr. (BOA)
BUSINESS MEETING:
1. Meeting called to order at 3:25PM by brother Jun Patricio. Prayer was led by brother Eliseo Tangunan.
2. Merienda was served.
3. Evaluation of the December 29-30, 2005 Homecoming & Fellowship
3.1. There were few participants (58 attendance)
3.2. Too many church and social activities at this time of the year coinciding with
the PBC homecoming-fellowship so it is not a very advisable time to hold a
homecoming.
3.3. Have consultation with church leaders and preachers about activities ahead of
time.
3.4. Registration fee with explanation – maybe by sponsorship of a church or brother
or by donation.
3.5. More advertisement like radio, TV, etc.
3.6. Make a generic letter with the official stationery and logo and be signed by the
trustee, and sent to the alumni.
4. Solicitation letter to be explained and be given during the general assembly meeting.
5. Plans for the general assembly and homecoming on March 31-April1, 2006:
5.1. Motion #1 – A motion was made and seconded that the working committees be
the same as of the Dec. 28-30,2005 homecoming and fellowship.
Approved.
5.2. Note: Invitation letter will embody the basic aspiration of the organization, the
theme, date, venue, registration fee, what to bring, etc.
5.3. Theme: “PBCAA and PBC for the LORD’S GLORY”
5.4 Venue:
5.5. Program to include:
* President’s report
* Treasurer’s report
* Dream for PBC – research on whereabouts of alumni, jobs, status, etc.
- show statistics how many alumni are full-time/part-time
preachers
5.6. Motion # 2 – It was moved and seconded that brethren Eliseo Tangunan and
Arnold Zambrano will tackle the above-mentioned project on a multi-
media presentation. Approved.
5.7. Registration fee – Php100 for alumni only.
5.8. Food – to be catered at Php75 per meal (x5) is Php375 total. The food will be
charged at Php250 per participant. The remaining balance of Php125 will
be subsidized by the PBCAA Officers thru donations. If 100 participants
will eat, it means the PBCAA Officers have to raise Php12,500 for the
subsidy.
5.9. Motion # 3 – It was moved and seconded that the PBCAA Officers, through
donations, will subsidize the food budget. Approved.
6. Continuing education for PBCAA – tabled for next meeting
NEW ITEMS:
1. Brother Cris Sacayanan, PBC Director, suggested thru sister Rebecca Braga the following idea: That the Philippine Bible College would like to have the first PBC graduation on March 31, 2006 in the afternoon, followed by a banquet to coincide with PBCAA general assembly meeting. Reasons: So that alumni can witness the graduation program, the graduates will be inducted into the association, and there will be an audience. Banquet arrangement: Alumni who register to attend pays their own plate, PBC will pay own plate for graduating students and staff members.
2. Motion # 4 – That PBC graduation on March 31, 2006 will coincide with PBCAA general assembly. Approved.
3. Activities for March 31, 2006 PBCAA Homecoming:
3.1. From 08:00-12:00NN and 1:00-4:00PM - Registration
3.2. From 06:00-7:00PM ------------------------PBC Graduation Banquet
3.3. From 08:00-10:00PM ---------------------- PBC General Assembly
Next Meeting: March 4, 2006 at 1pm in Urdaneta,City, Pangasinan hosted by brother Arnold Zambrano.
